Roofing Materials

This section is devoted to roofing materials. There are really only two things that affect the quality of the roofing job and that is how skillfully the roofing work was performed and the materials used.

In regards to materials the two essential criteria for there selection is the appropriateness of the roofing system for the particular roof and the quality of the materials.

For most of the homes we reroof we use Certainteed shingles purchased from a roofing supply house. We don't buy factory seconds with no warranty to put on your house. We also like to buy the shingles from the supply house because they know how better to handle them and deliver them with all one lot number (which we double check).
